As a resistance fighter dispatched back in time to thwart the establishment of a despotic empire, you take on this task. The territory goals seem to be the same for each play-through, so you either forgo the bonuses or you keep following the same routes to attack. The Front Free Download, is an open-world survival crafting shooter game. Instead of being told to take X territory, I would rather decide for myself which territory is a priority. I would also prefer if the goals assigned to you were toned down a bit. I would rather that even minor victories move you closer to your goal, even if it took a lot of them. My biggest complaint is the game focuses too much on the "Great Victory" to take land in the game. I have barely scratched air craft and tanks, so hopefully that gives me even more hours of fun. In my next playthrough, I focused on gas attacks via artillery (aka mustard gas), and found that to be a very effective way to win. The first 2 campaigns, I focused on super soldiers to help me reach and win in the trenches. The game seems to have a lot of replayability. The game also has a lot of historical references that means that I an learning about history at the same time I am enjoying the game. ![]() It is a different kind of tactic, and one I found fun. I enjoyed the strategy of sending columns of men into trenches and using artillery to suppress enemy fire (allowing you to reach the trench). It is interesting to play a game focused on WW1 instead of WW2. ![]()
